Site Customizing

The Custom Product Management page is a useful feature when using Enhanced Content Provider (ECP) data. This page lets you add your own custom items and catalogs. It helps you better organize hundreds of items and catalogs all in a single page. Once you've done so, the system synchronizes your custom catalogs with the ECP Web service. This enables your custom items to appear in enhanced search results and related pages on your shopper's site. Therefore, you can use this page to easily determine which products and catalogs have been synchronized with the ECP, as well as choose those products and catalogs to be synchronized.

Note: Before you begin, there are several issues to consider when setting up custom catalogs and products. For more details, see About Custom Catalogs.

  1. Click Site Customizing and click Custom Product Mgmt.

  2. The Custom Product Management page opens. The text and labels on the page indicate the specific enhanced content provider (ECP) selected for the current site.

Under Custom Products, the last several items with recent product activity appear.

Under Custom Catalogs, the last several catalogs with recent activity appear. This shows a list of links to the last five products and last five catalogs that were viewed or edited. You may also see ECP information.
