About Mass Setting Management
Your end user's experience is completely based on parameters you set. For example, you may allow one customer to place credit card orders while another cannot. One customer may be allowed to view budget information, but a different customer is denied. Managing individual parameters for hundreds of customers can be overwhelming. To help you more effectively manage your customer settings, we developed the mass setting maintenance page. This page lets you toggle the feature for the entire account or department, turning it on and off for dozens of users at once.
In the Managing Customer Settings for Customers page, groups of parameters have been broken into the following:
Alternates/Substitutes: This page lets you create settings for handling alternate and substitute items used in the back-office DDMS system. For details, see Alternate Substitute Settings.
Checkout: This page contains all of the end user parameters pertaining to the checkout process. This includes shipping options to the text that displays on the invoice. For details, see Checkout.
Marketing: This page contains settings that enable you to successfully market products to your end users. This includes allowing end user access to Web Specials and Point Rewards. For details, see Marketing.
Price: This page affects how prices appear on the end user's site. For example, you can specify the number of decimals places to show and whether to display list prices. For details, see Price.
Feature: This page contains all the different feature parameters, including the ability to view order history and access budget information. For details, see Feature.
Communication: This page enables confirmation emails to be sent to the end user after an order is placed. For details, see Communication.
